Luckily, the market offers a variety of tools for various purposes. I’ve already tested and written in-depth reviews about many creator tools.

Mangools SEO tools
As a part of this Mangools review, I’ll cover paid and free Mangools SEO tools available for users.
Even if you use a free account, you’ll have access to all the below-mentioned tools but with a limited number of credits. I personally started with a free account but upgraded to Mangools Premium later to conduct extensive keyword research for my website and client websites.
As an SEO expert, I particularly recommend taking a look at Mangool’s keyword finder and SERP watcher since these tools have tremendous value for website owners for affordable pricing.
KWFinder
I’ll start reviewing Mangool SEO tools with its KWFinder since I am a big fan of niche keyword research.
Thanks to keyword research, I’ve grown my website to 6,000+ monthly organic visitors in 2 years without link building. My top choices are Ahrefs Keyword Explorer and Semrush keyword research tool. However, these tools are pretty costly.
Unlike Semrush and Ahrefs, Mangools keyword finder is an affordable tool that offers free up-to-date information for the target and 15 related keywords. Furthermore, Mangools provides keyword suggestions, search volume data, competition analysis, and other metrics to help users choose the best keywords to target.
According to Mangools, their keyword finder has

I used the Mangools keyword research tool to conduct keyword research for this article and analyze the competitiveness of the “Mangools” keyword. The screenshot below shows I’ve handpicked five juicy keywords for on-page optimization.
Mangools KW Finder shows 15 related keywords in a free version. It is not enough for extensive keyword research. With Mangools Premium, you get unlimited monthly keyword suggestions for only $69 per month.
You can create a filter if you want to narrow your keyword list and see only juicy keywords. In my example below, I narrowed a list of keywords to the ones with a US volume of 100+/m and a keyword difficulty of up to 30 out of 100.
SERPChecker
This tool lets you conduct SERP analysis for specific keywords. It provides insights into the top-ranking pages, backlink profiles, domain authority, social media shares, and trustworthiness. These stats are essential to analyze if you want to outperform competitors in organic search results.
The free version lets you preview and analyze the top 8 ranking web pages. If you want to see the entire SERP, you must upgrade to a paid account. The cheapest starts from $29/m.
There is one unique feature of Mangools SERPChecker I particularly like — the tool shows the CTR for every top-ranking web page.
For example, you can see my Beehiiv review blog post ranking in the 8th position. The web page gets roughly 0.68% of all clicks. It might be because the meta title and description are not appealing or users want to navigate directly to the Beehiiv main page. Nevertheless, this finding was part of my Mangools review, which points to the potential area of improvement.
SERPWatcher
SERPWatcher is an alternative to RankTracker if you wish. This tool allows tracking the rankings of your website and your competitors for specific keywords over time.
If your goal is to rank in the top 10 for particular keywords, you can track your goal progress using Mangools SERPWatcher.
The free version allows you to track the performance of your website for 5 keywords for a particular location. Mangools will send you a weekly and monthly report with performance updates by default. However, you can also create a custom report for specific alerts, such as rankings increase or decrease.
Mangools Entry payment plan offers 50 tracked keywords for only $29 per month. For established websites, I recommend choosing the Mangools Agency plan, which allows unlimited competitor keyword tracking and 1,500 tracked keywords for your website for $129 per month. Compared to Ahrefs or Semrush, it’s affordable pricing for a similar feature. If you want to try Mangools, here is a registration link.
Keyword rankings are updated daily, so you can see sudden ranking changes if there are any. Furthermore, Mangools shows whether your URL is displayed with featured snippets, such as extended snippets, FAQ sections, etc.
My Beehiiv review article ranks 5th for the target keyword and occasionally shows the FAQ featured snippet. The keyword volume is low because Beehiiv is a relatively new email software that slowly gains its popularity.
You might also notice that my website ranks for the “SEO blog post writing” keyword in the 101 position. In fact, I published a new web page on July 17th, and as of July 19th, Mangools did not catch the new rankings yet. I expect the position to change once the article is indexed and gets impressions in Google Search Console.
LinkMiner
Mangools LinkMiner helps you identify your competitors’ backlinks, evaluate their quality, and find potential link-building opportunities.
Besides you can also use this tool to analyze your website’s backlink profile, track new and lost backlinks, do follow and no follow backlinks.
For every backlink, Mangools shows the donor website, anchor text, and domain strength parameters. In my case, you can see the backlink I’ve got via the Featured service. I’ve shared my opinion on a particular topic, and a popular website included my quote in their article.
Editorial backlinks are the most valuable, according to Google. Besides, I did not bargain to get this backlink, so there is a high chance it won’t be removed. However, you can also add backlinks to favorites for tracking if those are negotiated backlinks.
It’s also worth mentioning that Mangools’ measurement of my website’s backlink profile is similar to Ahrefs. I’ve created this table to compare Ahrefs and Mangools metrics. The essential site measurement metrics are almost the same. It signals that the data is most likely reliable.

SiteProfiler
Mangools SiteProfiler is a powerful alternative to Ahrefs’ Site Explorer or Semrush Domain Overview.
This tool provides an overview of your website’s key SEO metrics, such as the site’s authority, backlink profile, organic traffic, top performing pages, and competitors.
This report is not for sharing insights about your website performance, though. Instead, it’s about helping you quickly assess any website’s strength and performance. For example, it’s crucial for backlink exchange negotiation, where you’ll inevitably get bad deals and should be able to detect poor websites.
Mangools SiteProfiler can help you understand the following:
- The domain rating of your competitor
- If your competitor buys backlinks (too rapid backlink growth with unnatural anchors)
- Donor websites that link to your competitor
- Top content by referring domains
It’s basic information for a quick assessment. The report does not show organic traffic and keyword reports, which are essential for website performance analysis.
However, if you need to quickly compile marketing reports with basic information about competitors, Mangools can help you do it.
Mangools free SEO tools
In the previous paragraph of this Mangools review, I’ve described Mangools’ paid SEO tools, which you can try for free but with limited credits.
However, not everyone knows that Mangools has several helpful tools which anyone can use for free. As an SEO expert, I’d say these tools are a great addition to the must-have toolkit of any SEO professional.
The Mangools SEO extension is a free browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that provides a variety of SEO insights directly in your browser. It can help you to:
- Check the domain authority and popularity of any website
- See the keyword positions, exact search volumes, and other metrics for any keyword
- Get a list of backlinks for any web page
- Analyze the on-page SEO of any page
- See SERP key metrics for any keyword
- Track your rankings for any keyword
The Mangools SERP Simulator is a free tool that allows you to preview how your website will appear in Google search results. It is a great way to test different title tags, meta descriptions, and URL slugs to see how they affect your click-through rate (CTR).
In my example below, I’ve added the URL, meta title, and description of a non-existing web page to see how it would look on SERP. However, you can also fetch data for existing URLs with the help of the Mangools Google SERP simulator.
There is one more helpful tool Mangools enabled for free — SERP Volatility Checker. The tool helps to understand whether the SERP rankings changes are caused by potential Google algorithm updates.
I took this screenshot on July 19th, 2023, when the Google SERP volatility for desktop and mobile was pretty high. I assume Google might have tested and launched some updates that impacted rankings. That’s why some of my top-ranking web pages experienced rankings changes.
It’s useful to check this report occasionally to understand whether your website performance change is related to Google’s algorithm changes.
Pros and cons of Mangools
Even though I am a big fan of other SEO tools for small businesess, Mangools has proven to provide accurate data and an affordable alternative to expensive keyword research tools.
After testing the tool for this Mangools review, I’ve made the following conclusions about its pros and cons.
