Are you an aspiring SEO professional looking to join the best SEO newsletters?

Yes?

Then you are in the right place!

I’m an SEO expert like you. I’ve been working in the SEO field since 2019. SEO has changed a lot since then. It’s no longer enough to publish new content, build new backlinks, and patiently wait for your website to grow.

Google algorithms have become more complex. Nowadays, website owners like you and me must follow EEAT, optimize content for topics instead of keywords, and focus on content quality instead of quantity.

I know how challenging it is to follow the trends and keep up with the latest updates. One of the ways how I try to stay in the SEO news pool is by following SEO newsletters from top SEO experts. Some share the results of their SEO experiments, while others update on what’s happening in technical SEO and share proven-to-work strategies.

Check the following newsletters if you want to learn from fellow SEOs and top industry experts.

  1. Website growth mastery
  2. SEO smart
  3. SEO FOMO
  4. Marketing FOMO
  5. Ahrefs digest
  6. Backlinko digest
  7. SEO Power Plays

Why I recommend these SEO newsletters

I handpicked these SEO newsletters for several reasons.

First, I know who runs every newsletter. You can see these top faces in the SEO field at almost every SEO event. These people have already proved their expertise, have years of relevant experience, and have much to share. Even though I’m also practicing SEO, I’m eagerly learning from experts ahead of me.

Second, their newsletters are always to the point.

Honestly, I hate long and uninformative newsletters. I don’t know about you, but I instantly lose my attention when I see an article-long newsletter in my email box. It doesn’t motivate me to read it. Instead, I close it and never open it again.

The SEO newsletters below are relatively short and not annoying and regularly share the latest news from the SEO field.

So, if you don’t want to waste your time reading shallow content and seeking impactful SEO newsletters, I’ve got you covered. I assure you that you’ll find the following newsletters helpful.

1. Website growth mastery

  • The author: Victoria Kurichenko

  • What it’s about: How to grow and monetize your website

That’s my SEO newsletter, where I share the tips and strategies I use to grow my website – selfmademillennials.com.

As an SEO expert, I get a lot of requests from content creators and site owners who want to grow their websites but do not know how. They publish a lot of content, build some backlinks, and share their site links on social media. However, their websites don’t grow. Most of their content flops and never ranks on Google.

I launched my newsletter to show what SEO strategies work in real-time on my website and help struggling people grow their websites in organic search results.

Twice a week, I share:

  • How I optimize content for rankings
  • How my newly published content performs
  • How my updated content performs
  • How I research and analyze keywords
  • How I prepare a content writing strategy for my website
  • How I monetize my WordPress website
  • And more!

If you are interested in these topics, I invite you to join my newsletter with 2,200+ fellow content creators and SEO experts from all over the world who read it weekly.

Their writing style sets them apart from other websites and bloggers — succinct writing without fluff.

So, if you want to learn from the Ahrefs team and follow their updates, I recommend checking and subscribing to their SEO newsletter.

5 SEO newsletter tips if you want to launch one

Launching a newsletter can be a powerful way to connect with your audience and establish authority in your niche. Here are five essential tips to consider when starting your own SEO newsletter.

1. Niche down

First, you must define your ideal audience.

Are you writing for beginners, technical SEOs, or a specific industry?

Tailor your content, tone, and language to resonate with the needs and interests of your target audience. Conduct market research, analyze competitor newsletters, and gather feedback from your audience to gain insights into what topics resonate most with them.

In my case, I started sharing my SEO strategies on my Medium blog, and that’s how I learned what my readers liked and disliked about my writing. Later, I figured out what they wanted to learn from me. This is how my Website Growth Mastery newsletter was born.

2. Prioritize value above volume

The success of your SEO newsletter hinges on the quality and relevance of your content.

Provide actionable insights, expert tips, and valuable resources that address common challenges faced by your audience.

If you create content on other platforms, like Medium, you can also repurpose your articles, case studies, tutorials, and interviews to keep your newsletter fresh and engaging.

Incorporate eye-catching visuals, compelling headlines, and concise writing to captivate readers’ attention and encourage them to delve deeper into your content.

Remember to prioritize quality over quantity and maintain a consistent publishing schedule to keep subscribers eagerly anticipating each edition.

3. Optimize for engagement

Building a thriving community around your SEO newsletter involves more than just broadcasting information—it requires fostering meaningful engagement with your audience.

You can incorporate interactive elements like polls, surveys, and quizzes to spark conversation and gather valuable feedback. Respond promptly to subscriber inquiries, demonstrating your commitment to providing value and building relationships.

Cultivate a sense of exclusivity by offering special perks or incentives to active subscribers, such as early access to content or exclusive discounts.

For example, I encourage my newsletter subscribers answer varios questions via polls. This way, I learn more about their challenges and needs. Besides, I also share the exclusive poll results with my audience. Here’s what newsletter polls looks like on Beehiiv

4. Consistency is key

I recommend establishing a regular publishing schedule and sticking to it!

Whether it’s weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, build anticipation and trust by delivering valuable content at predictable intervals. Promote your newsletter across social media and your website to expand your reach.

For example, I send newsletters on Tuesdays and Fridays at around 11 am. According to Beehiiv, that’s the most suitable time to email my subscribers.

If you don’t know when to send newsletters and your email software doesn’t provide any hints, check your newsletter open rates and time. Email your subscribers when they are the most active.

5. Promote your newsletter

Leverage social media, guest blogging, and paid advertising to reach your target audience. Encourage sign-ups by enticing CTAs and offering bonus content for early subscribers.

By following these tips, your SEO newsletter can attract a loyal audience, establish your authority, and become a powerful tool for driving website traffic and brand awareness.

Learn how to grow and monetize your website

Join my newsletter with 2,200+ content creators and website owners, where I share how I grow and monetize my website. Twice a week, you’ll get actionable tips, case studies, and strategies you can use to grow your website.
